Alejandro Aguilar Canela is an award winning multidisciplinary artist and designer from Mexico currently living in Austin, Tx, who specializes in drawing. He has a BA in Visual Information Design, an MFA in Illustration Practice, and has been exhibiting his work internationally including countries like Germany, Belgium, Canada, Mexico and the US where he took part in the 2018 Miami Art Basel. The awards he holds include a Silver Young Lion and in 2019 he was part of the Best Young Artists according to Domestika Mx. He has collaborated with brands like Google, Coca-Cola, Netflix, Grupo Modelo, among others. Currently he keeps exploring the rawness of working with lead and emotions while being an Art Director at Bakery Agency.
